Good evening my SG chums. I trust you're all feeling suitably satisfied by Monday. I'm feeling as fat as a pig just before the mid-winter slaughter after a mahoosive curry with the guys from work. I may have ordered a little more than I can stomach. Eyes bigger than my belly etc...

I've not really had a lot of time to surf and catch up with blogs so apologies for being ::offline:: for a while. I know you all just love to read my fantastically interesting blog entries which tend to go no-where in particular.

Occasionally I might deviate off-topic with such whimsical tangents as "who came up with the term 'shag' for a unit of floor covering thickness?" or "why is a grandad collar so-named?"

But more often than not I'll bring you all back in from around the houses with a not so subtle reference to a food product of some description. I.E. The aforementioned curry.

Does anyone know why laughter and slaughter look similar but sound different and if you combined the two you might get locked up?

Cattle

Slaughter

Meat

Food

Conversation

Laughter

Sleep

Hunger

Farming

Cattle

Slaughter...

Just keep your daughter out of the way.
