I need a video. A proper video for my music. Already have a small cam arranged, song recorded and now i'm trying to figure out what kind of video i want. Basicaly, I can go with a band playing in few different settings or write a mini story and i think i like the story better. I might have had an idea; to create a short video about metamorphosis of a person or a group of persons from everyday employees into something else - that something would of course have to be uld play nicely with a song i'm planning to use.
Problem. I cant put it into a story that is not sounding too cheesy, even the idea itself is not exactly what i want. I'd love to make a little 3 mins story that would be a proper story and not just a semi illustration of my song. But i am not a fucking screenwriter, nor am i a fucking director and i dont have a fucking clue as to how should i do it. And the real problem is - somebody would have to play in it. I can act, i'm not brilliant, but i can. Yet, me alone is not enough - band mates are not up to it, i would have to force them to do that and i dont want to. That leads to another issue, me being lazy bastard, instead of meeting new people in tha past five years i've been living in brum, i just sat in front of a computer and drank beer only occasionally going out to play a gig.... well thats not entirely true, but still i dont have a social circle wide enough to just pick some people to be in a video.
Oh well.... when i ask my friend if he can borrow me a camera he was sure i want it to record some homemade porn, that would certainly be easier.
I uploaded the song on youtube, any suggestions and ideas for an easy to make video are welcome.
