On Wednesday evening I went to Johannesburgs ols CBD which consisits of many old, abandoned, high rise office blocks. A friend of mine (Chris, he was a contestant in the South African version of The Apprentice)works for a company called Urban Ocean, they are trying to revive urban living in Johannesburg as one can hardly call Sandton Urban!
Anyway I spent the evening painting windows and sanding doors as they were preparing the building for a charity event the next day, the event was called " An evening of a hundred drawings". Artists donated their art which was to be sold for R100 and all the proceeds were to be donated to charity. I was going to attend the event but I had to make a birthday dinner for my friend Deliana and after a bottle of wine I passed out while watching "6 feet under", I woke up at about one in the morning sitting up right on my bed leaning against my continental pillow
Anyway I digress (there goes my ADD again!). I really enjoyed painting and sanding and being covered in building grit, a bit strange for a femme fatale who lives in high heels! Although I do drink beer out of the bottle and I love camping as well so I guess I just have two very distinct parts of my personality!!
Maybe I have multiple personality disorder as well, wouldn't that be fun!!

the cake was made out of a mix from a box. we got it at the store. then it was decorated to look like eyes because my son likes creepy things. since you like painting and sanding im guessing you are going to repaint your new home. urban living sounds neat. ive always lived in the suburbs though.

Not really "afflicted" but yeah I was told when I was little I had "it". Seriously though I've as ways didn't notice a difference just that I can do mutliple things and once and still do them well.
