So i had a temp to perm job doing customer service, notice I said 'had'... I was supposed to become perm. in 2 weeks and to mine, and everyone elses surprise, i'm told this morning that I'm no longer employed. After I've already dragged my ass to work. Get there, pack up, say a half assed goodbye, and leave. Nice. They could only afford 1 more person and it was either keep me or hire a new AP person.... But of course I get a raving recomendation to the temp agency that placed me. They said they were just as surprised and that they were just talking about my perm hire date that would be coming up. Then poof, they call they friday and said nope were letting her go.... but of course no one could tell me on friday so I got to go in this morning just to pack up and leave. fuckers.

well the temp agency has another temp postion for me just for a week or two, in the local campus bookstore. and guess what? it pays $2 more an hour that the customer service/recpetion job did.

All of this right after I buy a car. figures.
needless to say I'm a bit pissed off and I think i'm gonna have a beer and go back to bed.
