Well hello there, stranger. Yes, I'm quite aware that I have been a bit preoccupied with life beyond the keyboard.
The plague (AKA, whatever everyone else has and has coughed my direction) has run rampant in my household. It appears I am not immune to this and have been a whiny, mopey, nap stealing, YouTube dwelling, Netflix binge-ing "please just cuddle me" warmed over death blanket hog. Because of not only the Petri dish that is my house, but the fact that the race car has decided to pose wiring issues such as lighting herself on fire when you'd like to see at night, I sadly was unable to attend the most recent race in my area. Boo, hiss, *pouts*
So, what did I learn while I was forced to be in bed? I've learned that watching far too much drifting can put you in quite a depressing mood oddly enough. I've come to the realization that I just need to quit making excuses, get shit done and get out there on the track. I have a brand new racing helmet just sitting as a fucking decorative piece on my side table and too many RWD cars sitting in the driveway that are not running. So, this week is all about order. I demand order first and foremost. My garage will be torn apart, gone over, organized and the DeLorean will be pulled out and put the interior back together to prepare for the engine tear down. The Volvo 142 parts will be looked over, noted and be ready to be put in once the head gets back from the shop. On a lighter note, two very important events will be happening the beginning of May. OREGON TRAIL RALLY!!!!!!!!! I'm gonna be there volunteering as we do not have a car to attend with. AND The annual Volvo swap meet and car show will be happening as well! So I look forward to these events and you can look forward to a TON of racing photos after the event as I have finally set up an Instagram account here -------> Ahhzrea! <--------- So all of my other awesome schtuff that goes on in my life will go there for ya :)
