I remember hearing about beautiful tattooed, colorful women, of all types, embracing beauty for what it should be... diverse.
I grew up in Portland, Oregon. Where we prefer to "stay weird". I wanted to be a suicidegirl since I was a teenager. I was told time and time again, I'd never become one. "You've had kids." "You have stretchmarks" "You're too old."
All of which...

The storm has drenched my home. The streets remain filled to the brim and everything over saturated. I sit in my cozy bed with my cats randomly spaced out along the edges, cell phone beside me and other random assortment of items that are now a "necessity" in life. Restless night leaves your mind to wander and ponder amidst the howling of wind outside, the

That's deep babe! When I look into the mirror after my wake up pee I seen two reddish foreign matters staring back where my eyes should be as I belch the last of last night's beer and ask the stranger if he's got the energy to pull it together for another day.

Amazing text! Are you posting more elsewhere?

Tuesdays always suck for me, so I decided to pay for the coffee for the person behind me. Do something to make someone smile, you never know, they might have really needed that. And coffee. Everyone needs coffee.

nutworld:
well done!   We need more of this in the world.

This weeks #sghomework by @lyxzen @rambo and @missy is "What would you like to accomplish in the next year?"

Of course there are a number of things that I'd like to accomplish in the next year, from sleeping in, paying debt down, to just remembering where I put my damn keys all the time. But it dawned on me today as I ran into a...

That is an interesting question. Am I working hard, or hardly working?
Well of course I've been working hard, my new job has been so crazy with long hours since I stepped foot into the shop. Overtime is something I've gotten quite used to. At the same time, I feel like I'm hardly working with everything else in my life. Projects have slowed to a...

For the record, pancakes are really easy not to burn.  I'm a fan of messaging people when I'm half asleep/retarded.  It makes for some hilarious reading.

Hello! Hello!
I promised photos and word of my adventures and then life happened and I landed a normal job the minute I hit the homestead. Look at me go doing the normal job thing again, it has been some time. I'm so use to being my own boss and now I have one, weird. Oh well! Now that things have evened out and I...

I recently came across an article on Speed Hunters. It’s a car enthusiast website. I came across an article entitled “banishing the female car enthusiast” I’ll post the link at the end of this if you care to read. The point of this article is that there should be no distinction between a female and male enthusiast as men do not call themselves that. But

@sumodiste I apologize for the late response haha. Thank you for your notice to detail, I can't take credit for all of the work involved on the Jeep. I did however take care of her as I take care of all of my cars, with meticulous details to the parts that matter. And I was taking care of the pesky distributor that happens to be wedged between the motor and firewall. My DeLorean was speculated to be painted red for the horrible B rated movie "Malibu Express" or at least, that's how the story goes in my family. No retro fitting of time machine parts, but I do hope to get her on the track, not as a full race car, she's a fiberglass frame under the thin stainless steel shell, so I assume she would be considered a "kit car" of some sort even though she is a factory car. So it would prove difficult to get her signed off for any actual race. But maybe a 000 car just for glam and recognition for being a flipping DeLorean ;)

@jozsef I have been around a few Model A's here and there. Thank you, it's still a crazy notion to be considered an inspiration for taking matters (and fun) into my own hands. I wish there were more like me too. I feel I'd have far more things to relate to in conversations with women then! Haha! I kid. I kid.

So! I thought I would actually be good and do some homework lol This weeks homework topic by @lyxzen and @rambo was "What is the geekiest thing about you?"

This is tough for me, I would consider myself some what of an eclectic style geek? I've never been one who was able to be put into a specific category of any kind. I've always been

So I went MIA again, I thought I said I wasn’t going to do that? You know, when things get hard and you just can’t find anything good to say about your life because just when you feel it starting to look up, you get slammed with something else. Some things you feel you’re not going to make through… And you start thinking about the...

Seeing this blog again brings back a lot of memories.  DAY TIME.....night timeeee.  That one went over the top. Luck has its ways.  Who knows where I would have turned up in my life if I didn't have friends and family to turn to when I was in need.  Friends like you make the boring days of being a student exciting.  I can not wait for our next adventure and knowing how awesome of friends we are makes it better.  Every time I see a giant stack of bologna, hear from Darcie (“ToOoOoooommmm… I just want you to know…”), see an airplane fly by,   or just random things, I laugh and remember that fun trip.  Roller coasts?? yes yes yes? yes please more?
