i really really really want to go shopping. new tops for sure, and a new pair of jeans would be nice. i could probably stay away from shoes... maybe a dress or two. haha! i just really want a few new things to wear around this upcoming week. i'm sure i'll be hanging out with a lot more friends/family because christmas is just around the corner... so it'd be nice to have cute things to take pictures in. what else, what else?
i'm not gonna lie, i'm getting kinda angry at my mom. today is my niece's birthday, and she's asking me about what to get her... i mean, i already picked out what my mom is getting everyone for christmas, so i need to pick out birthday presents too. duh. oh, and i don't remember if i said anything when this happened or not, but she wanted me to meet her at the store to pick out presents, and then she'd just pay for them... so i got there early, picked out presents, and then was going to go after i showed her everything and got her approval. anyways, i picked out a robe for myself, because i wanted a robe and it was super cheap, and i thought maybe she'd want to get a present for me.... so as i was showing her the stuff, she was like, "oh, i have to get a present for you too?" and i was like, "no, but you're welcome for me finding everything else for everyone." and i put the robe back down because... well... because she's a cunt. she ended up buying it, and then when my aunt and sister were over, she was like, "this robe was only $10" and she left it on the couch and later was like, "can you take that up to your room?"
so i got the $10 robe... and i'm pretty sure i'm not getting anything else. and it's not like i'm trying to be greedy, but they say it's the thought that counts, right? she put NO thought into it whatsoever. if she were to have had a "thought" it was "i have to get something for my daughter that just did all my holiday shopping for me?!?" awesome. and i thought about this because of the birthday present thing for my niece. she's talking about presents she can get her, and they're all around $50-$75... and she was a cunt about spending $10 on a christmas present for me? what did she get me for MY birthday? nothing. and again, i'm not trying to be greedy... but my mom is also constantly bitching about how broke she is and that she can't afford nice presents for everyone... but i picked them out AND wrapped them... she's spent a good amount on everyone... so when it comes down to it, she's just broke when it comes to me, and i kinda hate her for that.
