I got the visa extension, Oz is letting me stay till mid Nov.
I booked my flight to Asia, flying into Bangkok Sept 21st. I've got 6 weeks to play with, so if you've got any suggestions, for any of the surrounding countries as well, I'm eager to hear them!!
I'll be back into Sydney Nov 7 and flying home to Canada Nov 10th. (which I might pospone by a week, I forgot it'll be summer in Sydney by then)
I'm going to be in Vancouver for a while, and Calgary as well, then finally home to Toronto! Just in time for Christmas... sweet!
Right, time to wake up, I've got to go book some dive courses, and a sailing tour, I'm heading up north, it's too cold in Syders!!

I went to China a few months ago and had a great time.
It was a huge culture shock compared to anywhere else I have been, but non the less I couldn't have asked for a better nor cheaper holiday.
I flew to Hong Kong and made my way up to Beijing and back. Thats the way I would suggest to travel, rough it a bit and get to see the country.
