I did manage to make it out of Cape Trib finally...
12 hr bus ride to Whitsundays only to endure lots and lost of more rain.
Our 3 day sailing tour was cancelled

We decided to hop on the bus early to Brisbane, might as well hang out in the rain for free here as oppose to hanging out in the rain spending money in the Whitsundays. It's rather unfortunete that I didn't get to see the reef, but I can always make another trip out there.

Staying with my friend Brad in Brissy, he lives in a very cute apartment in the west end

My friend Jenny is pretty homesick, I'm not sure how to help her? She doesn't really like anyone knowing she's upset, so I feel like I'm intruding if I'm asking her if she's ok all the time. We've been getting along fine, I think she is just missing her boyfriend and the rain is getting her down.

And yes, it's still raining... I think this is day 9 of solid rain? it sucks big time. I feel more bad for Jenny... she doesn't have that many days left before it's home time for her... bad luck really.

We head to Byron on monday.. the weather is supposed to be nice by then... everyone cross their fingers for us!
