Yeah -- I don't go to parties all that much anymore ... used to go to a lot of doofs and the occasional Drum and Bass event -- last jungle party i went to had an international from the UK headlining -- the venue was chockers and full of sweaty, E-ing 19 year old boys
I don't like parties that are too crowded and in small venues ... turned me off a bit. I am eager to venture out and hear some good music being mixed up again tho

Yes, P.matta is a little troubling, Have you been to the Mars Hill Cafe? There are some other nice cafes in that general area. Going to Parramatta Westfield on a Saturday is like stepping into some other dimension of Hell The Roxy is a fantastic venue ...visually/set-up. MAJOR shame about its location and punters !

It used to be considered close to the outer suburbs of Sydney, but no more. It's sort of part of the central suburban belt now.
Living closer to the city would be more interesting for sure, but it'd be quite a commute back and forth each day. The good news is you'd be commuting in the opposite direction to most people.
