They say if you don't like the weather in Michigan, wait ten minutes and it will change. It's pretty true, except sometimes you need to wait more like an hour or so.
I'm sure some of you are aware of the storm passing from WI over Lake Mi and into MI. I don't know what it did in WI, but it came to MI with 75 mph winds, horizontal rain, and flooding. It also knocked the tree in my side yard onto my in law's brand spakin' new Ford Colorado. Karma, my friends. Okay maybe not, since they have full coverage on it, but still.
What a day. I had to hide out at a gas station for an hour until it was safe to continue driving.
Roger started socialization and leash breaking today. He rides really well in the car, and only had one accident in the store. leash breaking, on the other hand, only works when you're going the way he wants to go. Which is to my girlfriend, for whatever reason.
Then I took Roger home to find Roger's grandpa/Molly's dad in with Roger's great grandpa/Molly's grandpa. For those of you not versed in what happens when two stud dogs get together unsupervised (I suppose I should say here that one is terrified of Thunder, that would be how it all started, and Angie was away with family at the time), here's the short version: Angie and I dug a big hole today. In the storm, no less. And I was barefoot. Not that it matters. That I was barefoot, at least. the rest matters. Dead dogs test what you're made of.
And now I'm waiting for the next storm to roll in. Should be here soon.

Didn't Rev say no countdowns?
I requested the day off. I'm going to the midnight with the hub, and then my girlfriends and I are going out to a ritz dinner and then to see it again. Cause we're classy bitches.
Can I just say how much I love how YOU got my back on that??
You totally rock.
