Wow I haven't been on here in forever. I go through my spells of not wanting to be online much. But to top it off Kyle started Kindergarten on my bday July 24th so I have been dealing with the orientation and meetings and such so when I come home I end up doing other stuff and then helping Kyle with his homework. Still waiting for my other car to get fixed as well so I dont have to drive Gabe isn't work everyday blah.
Its in the shop but sounds like the dumb thing needs a new motor so we will see if we will paying out the beaucoup money to fix the damn thing or its in dicussion about the owner of the company helping us get another car. I know with Gabe going to be the new IT Manager with the new partnership (set for next month) he will be flown out to Colorado to train on the systems and Andrew (the owner of the company he currently works for thats partnering with the new company) has thrown out how he plans to have him or the new company to pay for Gabe's schooling to finish up his Computer Programming Degree and then he wants to get Gabe a laptop so he can work from home and doesn't always have to be onsite since Gabe has given 2 years of working so many hours to the company he wants to give him something back. Then there was talk of a company vehicle so its like awesome! Gabe has definitely earned it! They will be moving into a new location soon. A place that is huge and all I can say in night parties big LOL.
But I just can't wait until Sept to get here...almost there! Because a great raise will happen with the official title. But right now Gabe is actually going to ask the owner this weekend what his worth is and ask for a raise because he knows he has earned it.
I also have a job Im going to start up in Sept as well. Im actually getting back to Wells Fargo Bank in one of their operations areas. I worked there a couple years ago for about 5 years until after I had my daughter. It will be a p/t 3rd shift position which is great because then don't have to pay childcare for the kids and will be making 11.50/hr which is great for a starting up base position with opportunity for growth. But hell the way childcare cost is I swear its like making 17 an hour!
Gabe & I wanted to go out the other night and I put up a posting on Craigslist and OMG I had on average 90-120 for the night to take kids overnight. Im like WTF I keep the kids up all day with no nap for them to passout early and people charge so much to watch your kids sleeping! And kid you not even 14/hr girl was charging 100/night! But we did manage to find a sitter for 30/night for both kids which was great. I mean damn who can pay that and still afford to go out? We had Gabe's mom every sat night before but she moved to Vegas but gabes younger brother Kalvin lives down here still so we still have family to watch the little ones on occassion but we dont always get to use him. Oh well.
Well before I write a novel I will go!
