I understand that some places take longer to go through. We've had that happen. However, when we see all of our transactions over the weekend pending, and it tells us that our remaining balance includes all the pending transactions, there should be no reason why we are in the negatives. That's what my major gripe is. We should be able to go online and be like "Okay. Our remaining balance is $100. Great. No shopping spree today!" Not: "Okay. Our remaining balance is $100. Is there anything pending? Yes? Do we have enough money to cover? Yes? No?" The point of online banking is supposed to make budgeting and balancing easier. Not more difficult.

And then banks always have that added little disclosure that no one actually sees unless they read (they love to do it in small print section) stating that online doesn't always reflect all current charges and such. They do that to CTA. I'm sorry it happened to you. They always dont point out those grey points showing that its not always live time. Thats how they make their money because if they dont point it out but just make it available to cover their asses then they get away with giving people charges. So as a consumer unfortunately we all get scammed with the little tiny print they dont take time to explain

WOW, having a 2 year old Houdini must be an adventure. My son stuttered and daughter had a lisp and grew out of it. Just be patient and if the school offers a speach therapist take them up on it. They have some fun exercises to help them out.
