So I was bored last night and decided to go to the local strip club. I've never seen a deader place. Granted it was Sunday night, but still. You could tell the girls were not into it. I feel for them because regardless, they gotta dance and with customers, there are no tips let alone dances. That has to be discouraging. So this cute girl is on stage finishing up as I walked in. I asked her for a dance when she was free. So after about 7 songs, 3 dancing for another guy and a the rest backstage we talked for a little bit. From experience and from reading about the girls on this website, SGs and not, who dance, I know that the perception for dancers is skewed in mainstream society. Most dancers are hard workers with a lot of intellect, quite a few are either putting themselves through college or raising a family or both. So this girl does not seem to fit in to any of these categories. She was 22, proceeded to tell me she just lost her boyfriend, what high school she went to, and asked me about work and hobbies. This is great chitchat, but this occurred when she was giving me the lap dance! Talk about a buzzkill. So she looks at me and says, "You don't look like you're having much fun." We duh, I paid $20 to go to the "private" area, am paying $20 a dance and she is asking me what I do for living! Ugh, frustrating. I need to learn how to better satisfy my boredom or at least talk to a girl for a little bit before asking her for a dance based on looks alone. I know, I know, it is a strip club so looks are everything. Well, the dittzy ones don't know any better. The smarter girls know how to work the guys and they work hard for every dollar.
