I just read the post of my sweet @alderaan and I think it was a good idea to explain why I am here.
As a lots of girls here since I was a teenager I know the website and had so much admiration for this girls. They was strong and proud to be what they are. This website say that it promoting alternative beauty. I had dream to be a Suicide Girl and some day I've try and apply. Now I am here and my set will be in member review in two month and a week.
I know that the reasons of the begining are still here but the buyed sets are always the same all this wonderful girls without any grease, young, with big boobs, they are perfect yes but they are not the majority (this is not thinshaming of course, this is not because I am fat that I hate thin girls) in France the standard size is 42 (12 US 14 UK) but I didn't see a lot of women here who wear 42.
For me it's worst I wear 46 (16 US 18 UK) but I am what I am. I am proud of me and I like my body. Of course there is some little things that I would like to change like the "thin" girls we all are humans we are not perfect and our small defects make us more beautiful more unique.
I want to do this wonderful adventure as myself. I don't want any buyed set if I have to be another, loosing weight or whatever. I am me Marie and I am Curvy, weird and totally crazy but if oneday one of my set will be buyed, I will know that's because the members, the staff love me as I am, with my qualities, my defects, my personnality.
If I am here, it's for me of course because it's really rewarding but it is also for others. For all the girls and guys who was bully by other when they was in school. For the girl who hate herself because she is not thin, for the girl who thinks that she can't be model because she is not size 0.
I start modelling for all this reasons and now I am here because if I turned pink oneday, I can prove that every girl can do it. We are not mannequin we are the girl next door.
Maybe this is so naive but this is my way think. Win something by crushing others is not a good way to win. Win something as yourself is really win.
