i did send a reply, just in the off-chance that the email was legit. not that i'm looking to work with these people, but... anyways, read on.

i appreciate your interest in my work, however at this time i am disinterested in displaying to the chelsea market. in addition, i would hesitate to personally promote, much less pay for a showing at a venue with such a poorly designed website presence.

if you are indeed interested in my talents as an artist, perhaps you should look into hiring me to re-imagine your website's design.

not that i'm looking for work, nor am i really thinking it isn't a scam, but something about it tells me that it might actually be from the gallery, only, the gallery is run by people unwise in the ways of conducting a professional business.

i'm actually kind of hoping someone will respond with a whiny "i'm offended that you said that" reply, if only so i can kindly tell them this probably isn't the way to conduct business. not if you want to be a respected gallery, anways.

in other news... tonight i sit at home, drinking pbr out of a tall can and doing nothing much at all. envy that, suckers.
