Yeah, I'm probably not getting that law firm job anytime soon. As it turns out, they're just starting an interviewing process, they have a couple of other people they're interested in. I just happened to be the first person on the list. Damn alphabetical order.

So, I went to my interview - without the lip ring, yes I took it out and it was trippy kinda - and they had me do some tests. Like grammatical, definition, ect. Yeah - total breeze. I threw the office manager, Lenore, totally off by that. I was done in maybe, what, 7 minutes, if that. So, from that was the interview, which lasted maybe 15. A lot of the questions she wanted to ask were answered over the phone yesterday. The only things that could prevent me from getting this job are:
- I do modeling from time to time (or I will be)
- I do concert reviews

Which really, aren't that much of a setback. I could always schedule a shoot for the weekends, and most of the shows I go to are few and far between and are all in the Bay Area. So I can shoot to a show after work. And I told them that, tried to present it as something that wouldn't interfere with a 40 hour workweek in the least.

I don't think it worked much. Grrrr. But I'm not going to lie. If there is something coming up that demands my time as well, I'm going to let them know.

So at this point, all I can do is pray.

But now that I've mentioned to my other jobs about the law firm - suddenly, the wine bar needs someone do bus and wait tables during lunch. Hmm. And one of the owners at the porn shop, Alisha, suddenly wants to sit everyone down and create a set schedule. Hmm again.

How very convienent.
