So Berkeley was fun, fun, fun.
Aside from the fact I made an ass out of myself in this Chinese food restaurant that a famous guy that I have a bit of a crush on goes there all the time (they have his freaking PICTURE up on a cupboard) .
Thank god the owners can't speak English for shit.
But still, I will never set foot in that restaurant again for fear that they will recognize me and he will be in there too.
Oh, the embarassment. Thank GOD he wasn't there last night. I would have died.
Anyways, so I finally got to go to Berkeley. I've been living in California for nearly two and a half years and I have NEVER "been" there. Amber and I didn't really do much, but it was still cool to get a view of the city I'll be living in come May. I blew some serious cash there too, money I should have kept for bills, but I was a bad wittle girl and splurged.
Hey, I've been good for a few months, I need to spoil myself every once and a while.
Anyways, after the restaurant, Amber and I went to Urban Outfitters. I've heard about that shop, but I came to find out it's not really my style. In other words - me no likes.
But of course, I liked the Hot Topic up there. Yeah, we went there. I'm a Hot Topic kid. But really, can you blame me? I love the shirts with the weirdass quotes on them like, "The little man behind my eyes who yells at my brain told me...to tell you hello." Hehehe, shit's funny as hell. And they have great little knick knacks there. So, anyways, played the part of a ghetto hippie looking fangirl and got an A.F.I poster. Picked up a Crow postcard that I don't have yet, and Amber found a Crow pen for me. All that was about $11. Not much.
Rasputin's is where I went nuts.
See, you guys don't know me that well. If you did, you'd know that you should NEVER set me free near cd's or I lose all reason and spend spend spend. And I haven't bought any cd's since October. (See? I have been a good girl!) So, since I'm behind the times out here apparently, I played catch up, then went back in time with the four cd's I bought:
*A.F.I. - All Hallow's EP
*A.F.I. - Black Sails In The Sunset
*Kidney Thieves - Zerospace
*Alice In Chains - Nothing Safe
Blew $50 dollars, even with the discount card.
I'll probably, no scratch that, absolutly end up regretting this in a week or so...but I'll be too busy enjoying myself in San Bernadino to care.
w00t!!!! 8 MORE DAYS!!!!
