Today was Boring Photoshoot Day. Usually I am gripping the edge of my steering wheel, listening to all sorts of horrible shit pour from the scanner I carry while snappin shots of deranged weirdos in court, or fast paced sports shots or the like. Not today. No white knuckle grip for me; my day consisted of: a) taking pictures of high school kids studying, b) taking pictures of a school board meeting, and c) going to a water utility shed and listen to a man explain IN GREAT DETAIL how he regulates the city's water supply by checkingon......damn, I'm even bored writing about it. Let's just say the shoot really puts the "fun" in policy. (wait; there's no fun in policy?... EXACTLY)
Ah well I part of the "magic" of photography is trying to make an interesting picture from an extremely boring and inactive situation. One consulation? I get to stand on furniture and crawl around and such while at these very dry shoots, thank god.
.....another consulation? at least i have a pink chin. believe me, this is very much a good thing.....
