I had a great last minute photo gig last night; I shot a bondage show called Donkey Punch (ha ha ha) at the Mantra Lounge, and although it wasn't very heavy on the bondage, it was very cool and a lot of fun. People were really dressed up, which is kinda rare in Milwaukee, and there were about 10 DJs (including Crisco Disco, who spun at my gallery show, which is why I shot this event- good karma ) and between the two rooms, there were massage therapists doing two girl massages, a fashion show parade (which quickly got really really rowdy) tarot card readings, a light show, a painter doing work as the event went on, and a whole lot of porn pretty much all over the place. Fun! plus, I got to wear my killer little black dress with the mandarin collar and tattoo motif running down the side. I shot six rolls of film before escaping with my little art tart right before bartime for some rowdiness of our own (yeeeehaw! The drought is over!!! ) I spent too much and drank too much and I'm not sorry one bit, even though I was next to useless at the Symphony. Ah, well, "you only live once"- my favorite trouble-justifying catchphrase. And boy, do I ever live
