Dude. It's a pharmaceutical conspiracy. I worked in a care home this summer, and the prescription drugs a resident took that promised to cure one symptom would often aggravate another symptom that the resident was taking medication for.

Some people were taking totals of 20 pills a day, half of which would be taken in one sitting at breakfast.

Now I'm wondering, do you have more or less stringent drug approval laws in your part of the continent,?
