Warning: Geek post ahead.

I got a job at Games Workshop today. I'll be working part time over the summer. Apparently, I'd be something like the second female to work retail in Games Workshop Canada's history.

Also, I saw Star Wars at midnight.

They didn't kill Jar-Jar. They didn't fix the inconsistancies. It was sappy and boring. They had great actors like Ewan and Natalie and din't actually write them dialogue more than six words at a time.

The insertion of Chewy was pointless, the utterance of "mitochlorians" was a slap in the face, and appparently Anakin's powers also include spontaneous combustion, but it only works when nobody's looking at him and he's not looking at himself. Or something.



Suffice to say, I'm not exactly happy with this last installment.

I feel a bit bitter.

I occasionally miss working for GW retail, but where I am now is much more fun, and I don't have to deal with a shop full of kids in the school holidays!
