Remember my SG set: Pearl?
I called it that way because I was posing with my white Pearl t-shirt and my white electric guitar.
Pearl Drums are actually one of the biggest names in the music industry.
I used to take a lot of pictures for them. Such as events and new products, it was really cool! I still have those contracts sometimes, only less. My uncle is also a huge name in the business, mostly in the backstage and stage set-up business. Most of my biggest gigs were thanks to him. He's also an amazing drummer, and this is one of his custom drumsets with rig and riser: his specialty.
I work almost every year for the Ultimate Drum Camp (it's on every two years, back in 2019 with Bass Camp), check it out if you're interested in learning to play drums with legends or if you want to perfect your craft. It's in Canada, but many students come from the US or all the way from Japan!
My uncle doesn't represent Pearl Drums anymore, that's why I'm sitting on a different brand in this photo. It's a self-portrait, as usual, and I'm laughing because I was shooting while a class was being given and the staff was on break... but it was my only occasion! I had to xD
