awkward

There was pounding on my
door at 9 in the morning.

I cracked my eyes open to
let the daylight daze me,
Tim is pounding outside my door..
something about there being
something I had to see.

I'm stumbling out of bed..
sleeply searching for a sweater..
a shirt.. anything to wear..

I'm walking downstairs as
he heads towards the door,
I ask him..
if I needed to put on shoes..

Then, BAM! it hits me.. after a
second of staring out of the
front door..

It was snowing!.. Many
squeaks of glee escaped my
lips.. I reached my hand out to
catch the falling ice thingies.

The snow was a lovely thing
to wake up to, there is no
such thing as snow in
California.

However, if the weather is
still questionable tomorrow..

The seattle trip is a no go.
Which I'm fine with.

More time to spend at home..
in blankets.. and messy hair.
