And the fun continues... I finished all of the NVG's that came in. And what is my reward for doing this?... I get "volunteered" for guard detail. My Sgt's told me today that I have to pull tower guard until I go on leave. That's one of the disadvantages to shooting expert/sharpshooter on the weapons qualification. You get volunteered for security details alot. I guess spending 6 months training for electronics meant nothing.
And it's official!!! I'm going to go absolutely crazy(in a good way) during my leave. I'm goona tear up T-town(Tampa) and O-town(Orlando)... And I bet $50 that I get Minnie Mouse AND Daisy Duck's phone number!!! I know! I'm crazy like that! Oh yeah, a tan wouldn't hurt either. I'm pale white right now.
*ADD ON* Just found out my schedule changed cause of the tower guard detail. Instead of going in at 6am, I'm now starting my shift at 3pm. That probably means I won't get off until 11pm-1am at night. I don't know if this is better, or worse.

Lucky you on the R&R!!! I can't go on R&R until Nov. but guard duty sounds pretty sweet compared to the idea of getting stuck in a hot ass kitchen all day with a SPC with a Naploleon complex.
