so i went to a show tonight.
my friend who plays bass is apparently no longer in the band.
i was very disapointed.
so my other friends, who were supposed to meet me at the show, were an hour and a half late.
they somehow or another conned me into bringing my camera and tagging along for a show they were playing.
it was in a warehouse in a rather ghetto area in downriver.
i was a bit freaked about it, but seeing as i was disapointed at the show i was already at, and the warehouse was free, i hopped in ricky's blazer and off we went on a 30min drive to the ghetto.
we get there, and the warehouse is on this creepy, dark dirt road.
it ends up being this huge bday party with a full bar and dj and everything. totally legal and legit, it was like, parents with their liitle kids.
my friends band (never turn back - www.myspace.com/neverturnbackrock) ended up playing over an hour long set. and got paid mad money to do so, plus sold lots of merch.
we danced to songs like my humps and bringin sexy back.
it was AMAZING. my friends are the best.
i took over 150 pictures of them. hopefully they're all sweet, i'll look at them tomorrow.
now = CRASH. i have been up since 8am (its 230am), drove rickys car the half hour home, then my own another 20 min, and i have to be up early (630am) for church.
