so i went up to the high school i instruct marching band at (the same school i graduated from) today to make sure i had a gig for the summer/fall. i do
but....... i'm supposed be moving sometime between september and november, so who knows if i'll get to finish up the season with them this year.
I'm actually getting out of michigan! I can't believe it. Plans may not be set in stone, but they're in the works. I don't want to screw my current roomates over, but I have a feeling its inevitable. Brian told me he was signing a 6 month lease when we moved in, but in order to get the rent price that they had as the running deal, he had to sign a year and did so without asking me. So... Oh well I guess. I am not on the lease and only agreed to a 6 month thing. I'll probably be here for about 9 anyway, and the only thing in my name is the comcast. My best friend and I have been planning to move to Gainsville, FL for awhile now. Her dad is in really rough shape and the doctors expect him to pass away by summer. It sounds bad, but we're waiting on that to happen to move. We're both in the process of saving money and looking at apartments in jobs in the Gainsville area, so if anyone knows of any, let me know. I just really can't wait to get out of michigan. It's soooo boring and I've lived in the same general area my entire life. The friend I'm moving with and I have been best friends since 5th grade. My other friend that I've had that long just joined the marines to get out of here, he's off on Paris Island right now. I just can't wait to leave.
Although no show today.... high 60s. I'm actually enjoying the weather. I switched cars back so I have my own again. I can't smoke in my moms car and it was starting to get to me.
