I learn my cats how to walk on the leash, and when older cat is scary, he’s quickly getting on my shoulders like that :) We mostly walk in a green places near our walk and went to the park few times which is right into the next corner. I am looking to get one of those backpacks for pets for a longer trip, but they seem to like it even like that so far :)

Many years ago I knew a guy who had trained his cat to ride on his shoulder like a parrot. But he did it for self defense. I hope that yours are uncatlike and come to you when called. None of mine have ever tolerated a leash harness.
