One of my best experience in my USA trip was an opportunity to have a flight over LA.
I came at Brackett Field Airport right after shooting (that's why I look too fancy for this place :D) and meet one of my Insta pilot friends who were kind enough to follow my tight schedule and find a time to fly with me :)
I flown Piper PA-28 (actually was my second time on this type of plane in my life) all over LA and got a great tour. It's so easy to see where are the fashion or poor districts here from the skies!.. But flying above such a big city were super exciting for me itself: in Europe or Russia small single engine planes are not able to fly above big cities. There are some limitations. Americans does not care.
Flying in USA is so much different from flying in the places where I been before, from some rules to charts. Common thing is it should be safe everywhere for sure, so you should not be worried about it if you decide to take a ride on a small plane wherever you are (just go with good cptn! :D) But this flight convinced me to come back and fly more on here.
I am definitely looking forward to it in my future!
btw, some time after I done this flight my co-pilot told me I flown a plane which Angelina Jolie used to fly when she worked on her private pilot license. So, being in LA is like being in a movie :D
