So this being my first blog post, I found it was suitable to talk about the things that have been tugging at my heart strings in the last few months.
First things first, my pooch, Trigger.
This dog is hella cool, and I miss him everyday. Travelling alone was something I've always aspired to do, but unfortunately backpacking with a dog who weighs as much as you do isn't an easy task. Again, I miss him everyday. I'm that weird girl who finds it completely appropriate to walk up to strangers and just sit with their dog, even if they're in the middle of enjoying a nice patio meal outside. Sorry, I'm a dog lover (Why am I even apologizing for it? Must be the Canadian roots).
The great thing I've noticed about Australia is that the beaches, parks and restaurant patios are extremely dog-friendly, so it's safe to say when I come back I'll be bringing my confidante with me

Secondly, my damn friends.
Holy crap, can I just bring them all here? Luckily my boy-toy is meeting me in Thailand in T-3 weeks. FUCK YA. And after that? My best friend is flying in from Canada to meet me on the East coast in Sydney, and were doing a wicked 35 day roady up to Cairns. Pictures and stories to come, I promise!
Lastly, FISHING!
Who likes to fish here SG? I love it and for some reason I've been unable to find anyone who wants to take me, mainly because I have yet to meet an Aussie with a boat or a passion for fishing. I'll bring my sexiest bikini and I may even take it off because let's face it, who wants tan lines? Bargain!
Honestly though, someone take me fishing.
Here I am excited that my pink worm (which matched my pink hair at the time) caught a large mouth bass on the first cast.
