Well survived another hurricane. You know the Green Day song "Wake Me Up When September Ends" is taking on a whole new meaning for me. Although it has given me an idea on how to complete my half slevee on my left arm. I didn't know what to put on the bicept part of my under arm but now I think I am going with a fucking cat. 5 hurricane. Just a litte reminder of were I come from.

I road out the hurricane in Mamou. That is where my parents live. Goddamn. Not the best idea. Way too many trees on the property. Fuck it sounded like the end of the world at some points. Then no power for two days. Fucking nasty. Thank god the power came back on at my place in Lafayette last night. Isn't it fucked up how dependent we are on electricty? Stupid fucking hurricanes.

Well, if you are going to UL, I have an announcement for you. We at SPEAK, the student environmental org on campus will be holding a weekly film series outside at Fletcher on Friday nights at 7:30. It is FREE, so you must show up. I usually have to work, but you should go anyway. It is projected on the building, weather permitting.
