I am not the biggest fan of Green Day ( I enjoyed most of their older cds) but the new album, American Idiot, has been in heavy rotation. I think I am just a sucker for the concept album. I don't know how many times I listened to NIN's Downward Spiral when it came out. The only other album I have been listening too as much as the new Green Day is the new Wyclef Jean ( I am a sucker for music in French). Yes, most of WJ's new album is in Hatian Creole. Its all-fuckin-right!
Saturday night is the opening of the new Art Center. I get play dress up and hobnob. It's really not that bad. Most people here are pertty grounded and accepting. But there are those few with old money or worse- new money......
But it is a small art scene here and you need to show your face every now and then.
I just found out that I will have an exhibit in the spring.
