blah... it sucks that by the time I get to check out sg anymore, I'm sick of looking at the screen and keyboard. Looking at such things is quite nice, but the screen flicker just gets to be too much after so many hours... anyway, a nicotine break calls my name...

a word I rarely use that describes my state of mind... so I go to SG to improve my disposition.

As much as I love this site and how it's set up, I feel at a loss of words to post on the boards. Most internet stuff is old hat to me, but this kind of thing isn't... I'd love to make good friends from here, but it's so much different than I'm used to offline and in other online areas... Ahh who knows...

Thanks to all for the happy birthday wishes while I was gone. I was up around 13,000 feet above sea level on the continental divide on my birthday. Much harder to breathe, but quite relaxing... I always feel at peace in that surrounding. I already miss that feeling, and I just got back yesterday. Got to get all those pictures developed now

Saw les Claypool and the Frog Brigade last night and was blown away. Happy to see Herb on the drums... It's not often that you get to see THE best bass player and one of the best drummers play together... Go and see them if you're a pink floyd fan, primus fan, bowie fan, or a musician.
