Four Words To Choke Upon
So, we've been pounded with a hurricane. Lovely. Sure does bring out the beauty of people when a natural disaster hits. Here's some interesting Texas news on this topic. We've been evacuating people to The Astrodome and Texas stadium in Houston to help out with the catastrophy. In the first night there were only 3 murders and 6 rapes in the Astrodome alone. Lovely people. Photographs of people looting shoe stores of all the damn things. It's pathetic. I can understand being trapped and needing supplies. Hell, in that situation I'd hit a pharmacy first for anti-biotics then a grocery store or other convenience stoor for canned food and bottled water. If I hadn't had the forthougt to get these items that is. Or perhaps my house blew away with my supplies. I don't think a new pair of Air Jordans and a couple of football (the crappy American kind, not true football!) jersies will help out my plight. Fucking morons. This is a tragedy, but humanity should be able to pull through. NOT! Mob Rules! Just a beautiful shining example of humanity there.
And on a hell of a cynical note, I destinctly recall being harrassed by Indonesia over the media airwaves because relieve for their tsunami disaster was late coming from the good old US of A. So, when are they planning on sending some of that fucking money back? We could use it apparently!
