Hellish end of week ends well? Kinda! Ok, so I'm off to work at nomal time Thursday (8 a.m.). In the middle of working on the project I'm supposed to have finished by Saturday, I get a troubleshooting call. The guy at the office who's supposed to take those calls is missing (assume another customer has a problem). So I can the job I'm on and go troubleshoot. I get everything finished up and back at my house around 12 a.m. Friday morning. So, I get up and head back out to the site I need to finish Friday morning at 8 a.m. Now we all get called out for trouble at another station. So I get to wrap up my project station. (Yeah, I at least get one of the damn things done!) Now I'm back at the other station to line it back out. I finally arrive home at about 4:30 a.m. Saturday morning. Get some sleep and back to work at 10 a.m. Work all damn day to get back into town at about 8:30. This makes me officially 1 and a half hours late for the Hank III concert I have arranged to go see with the wife while our kids are away for the entire evening! Get to the show and Hank is in the middle of his first set (the country one). Get to reminisce a while and drink a couple of beers. Then he starts into his second set (hellbilly as he calls it). Awsome show. Get's me into the groove. A couple more beers and the wife is hitting the Crown now. Then the third set gets into swing (Band name changes to Assjack for the third set. Still the same guys, but a totally metal show!) AWSOME JOB ON STAGE! Had a fucking blast with this one. So, got the wife a baby doll T, myself an Assjack CD (Harder than hell to get unless you go to a live show) and a Dickies shirt for a friend of mine who couldn't make it. To wind the evening down, get to meet Hank himself and get the friend's shirt signed. Wifey gets to oogle tattoed country/metal singer up close. Then the Crown kicks in and now she's visiting the porcaline god! Oh well. Bad luck to good time and back with the bad luck. So is the story of my life. But, I did have some fun! Hope all is well out there in the ether!
