It's been forever since I posted something here and I'm glad to be back. I'm not sure why, I jus am. Nothing has changed, I'm still a happily employed teacher in Oakland and I'm till trying to live a good life (which I am...if if matters).
It is a new year and I have been smoke free for one year and three days. I am proud of this. I was hard at first but it's great now...more time to drink when I'm at the bar. Also, I don't have to go out in the crappy weather every eleven miutes. While I do miss the smooth refershing drags, I am happy tha tI can run/jug 14 miles non-stop. Did I mention that I am training to run the LA Marathon with several of my students? Good times.
Yep this new year is going to be good...now...if I could only get laid.
