So i usually dont blog too much about Army life but somehting totally epic transpired. So every platoon has a name. Such as 1st platoon Renegades. To go with the name, they have some type logo. Well today my platoon name was changed to Hooligans! Right after i was told, a Rancid song got stuck in my head. Coincidentally, our logo is


With Rancid deleted of course. I suggested that every time the platoon is called to attention we sound off with Oi! Oi! Oi! and it was accepted. It's such a contradiction to everything the Army is about i think its hilarious. Rancid is an amazing band, and ive listened to them since i was a kid. So it really excited me that my fearless leaders unwittingly brought a little punk rock to the Army. Hah! Great day.
