Alright so im sitting here on one of those infamous 24 hour shifts. The only good thing about sitting at a desk all day watching a barracks that never has anything exciting happen is that its the middle of the week and i get full day off. I've decided, finally, after living in Germany for the last three years, that i could never move here permanently. The other day, i awakened to a cloudless sky, the sunshining brightly and the temperature had finally risen above 60 degrees, and i was TOO thankful for it. In fact, i couldnt even walk out my door without sunglasses because my eyes were too adjusted to cloud cover. Id say 90% of the year Germany is shielded from the sun by clouds. On the brightside i bet the chances of getting skin cancer here are alot lower. Anyways, i need sun in my life. I need warmth for more than 2 months out of the year, and i need beaches. Oh those sweet, bright sandy beaches. how i miss you. That is all for now. peace!
