Photoshoot set for Thursday. Very excited. Despite how poor I am, I will be blowing much money on film & supplies. Model is excited. Riled up is more like it.

Not much else is up. Can't seem to quite catch up with my money the last few weeks. Apparently got over my 'hermit' thing very quickly this time. Tonight is margarita night.

Well after a couple days I got the phonecall from friend who I'm supposed to photograph. I freak out prematurely sometimes. But she also said "Hey did you hear that we all sat on the roof and watched the meteor shower?"

"No, I haven't talked to anyone in days."

So I guess there must have been a meteor shower.

I'm thinking of making a life-sized...

fuck! i also forgot about the meteor shower... i saw the one last year, even from the light (and otherwise) polluted streets of NYC... there was a Bellmer show here last May or so that had one of his original dolls-- i was so in love with it... and re: 'your sign'-- did you happen to read ronnie james dio's recent babbling about how he thinks he owns that gesture, and his bitching about pop bands using it and draining it of it's sacred rawk power? it was pretty sad...
avanttard:
Wish I could have seen that Bellmer show... I probably never would have left.

And that's hilarious about Dio. What's he thinking? Seriously??

I found the most amazing place for my next photo shoot. Just..... incredible. I knew just who I wanted to be in the photos, and asked her last night if she'd pose. A new friend, someone I've seen a lot of lately. She agreed and told me she had today off, but that wouldn't work for me (I had to work, and needed some time...

Instead of the usual update regarding beer and friends and girls and inane stuff that none of you care about anyway, I'm going to get everyone all excited about the new "third party" choice in the Threwad vs. Channel Channel saga.

So get really excited about it. Now.
takora:
aww, i am only interested in the beer, friends, girls, and inane stuff...

and i'd like to give a shout out to my boy, Isidore Ducasse!

Let's see.....
Monday Mono visited me at work and we got burritos on my lunch break. I sure love burritos. After work I went to my brother's house and he went to bed early (always does on weekdays) then Mono, Holey, Neener and I hung out for a while, eating snacks and watching bad tv. Then again, I don't normally watch tv, so it all...

Not much going on here. I get paid tomorrow (finally). Sitting around the house reading on my day off.

So Mono the Knife Girl just started drinking probably less than a month ago. I got to babysit her last night after my brother decided to feed her several shots of apple scotch. Not that I really minded. She did end up puking all over though....

parents that kill their children (esp. the moms) really freak me out...but i have to read everything i see about such cases..just to try and have some inkling as to why and how could they....it's just too fucked up to fathom...it's a concept so contrary to the basic core of what we are *shudder*

so how about them....SG girls? he he
avanttard:
Oh yeah! Them SG girls! Let's hear it for 'em! Dead people? I don't know about any dead people! Just some Suicide Girls....

I always forget I have this thing.

Spent the day with Mono the Knife Girl. We went shopping for presents for my brother's girlfriend's upcoming birthday. I bought her John Fowles' "The Collector" and Patrick Suskind's "Perfume". Mono bought her "American Psycho" by Brett Easton Ellis. And she bought herself books regarding Genghis Khan, the history of torture and a thick tome regarding Russian Czars....

I can't remember what I've covered here and what I haven't.

Went to Seattle with Mono the Knife Girl. That was good ol' fun. Ate some burritos and introduced her to friends of mine &c.

Went to a party with brother and friends (and Mono again). It sucked but Crotch showed up (that's the girl from the pines last week). Told her we were going...

I had the same experience with Quorn! I ate it in Scotland, though. They have this dish "bangers and mash" (sausage and potatoes) and the veggie option had Quorn so my friend and I tried it. *drooling with memory* they only have the chicken products as yet, at Fred Meyers or other Kroger operated supermarkets.

So for the last while here I've been saying how I'm "staying away from females". My good friend the Reverend commented that I might not be doing the best job of keeping my promise to myself (see previous entry....).

Hell, I didn't say I wasn't going to TALK to them! I'm just enjoying being single and um.. stuff.

Anyhow, to further illustrate my inability to...

Last night was Neener's birthday party at my brother's house. She lives there. As per her request, everyone was supposed to dress up as some sort of hair metal / glam rock / new wave something or other. I wasn't feeling so good when I left so I just put on a baseball cap backwards and slung my guitar over my shoulder. Nobody fucked with...

"They're going to ask what we were doing all that time," she told me. So I had her mess up her hair and told her to be real evasive when they asked.

perfection. life is all about moments like this. enjoy those burritos. they will be filled with pleasure. take them in with joy.

The funny thing is how well it worked. She mussed her hair in back, we rounded the corner and we were greeted by a chant of "What were YOU TWO DOING???" in a playful sing-song elementary school kind of way. She glanced around suspiciously and mumbled "oh, nothing...."

Hilarious.
