This is so not fun.
I'm stuck at work. I'm in the build room on the 10th floor of Poydras Center. There is a lot of debris on the street below, from building materials to road signs to newspaper boxes. The building sways now and then, and the floor-to-ceiling windows push in and out with the wind. There is no power in the building; our datacenter is running on a diesel generator. Eeeee.
I guess I'm here indefinitely, at least until the conditions improve to allow for driving. I expect that if I tried to drive in the current conditions, my car would get blown over. On top of that I'd be surprised if Esplanade wasn't flooded (there's a canal going down the center of it). Ugh.
Hey, I'll pay for pizza if you go get it.
