Took way way too many sedatives yesterday... and didn't fall asleep. Ugh. So I was in a drugged-out haze all damn day. Had to call in sick to work, too. Shit. Still haven't slept, but I'm working on getting there now.
Meanwhile, there's a new kitty living in my apartment! Her name is Jena, because she was found on Jena Street in uptown New Orleans. She's about 2 years old, calico, very affectionate, playful, and vocal. However, right now she's hiding under the bed. I think she and Pepper will get along really well once the initial fear and hissing wears off. Once the fear goes away, she and Pepper have more or less the same personality, which is what made me think they'd make good playmates. Pepper is out and about, sniffing around, walking on eggshells while she works out that another kitty exists in her world.
Anyway...
Important dates coming up: Molly arrives here on August 31 and will be staying with me until September 8. There will be much cuddling, kissing, fucking, and other refinements during that week, oh yeah.
Then on September 13, I have an appointment with Dr. Jamie Buth, renowned transgender doctor. With any luck I'll leave that appointment with prescriptions for estradiol and spironolactone. Woo!
