Flying from New Orleans to New Jersey and back = not so good. I now have ear infections in both ears (or, at the very least, moderate barotrauma), either from the 6 hours at 30,000 feet, or from the inhumanly cold weather in south/central Jersey.
I was there for a party (yes, I'm a major LOTR geek, if you couldn't otherwise tell by that link) in a dot-on-the-map town called Stanton. The only major cities nearby there are Scranton, Pennsylvania, and Newark, New Jersey (where is where I flew into). I got back on Sunday and then promptly slept for approximately 30 uninterupted hours (!). It was a pretty good time, ear problems notwithstanding.
On top of that, I can't sleep; 2mg of Xanax and a couple Rolling Rocks doesn't seem to be helping. Sophie's new set that went up today will at least give me a nice barrage of hypnagogic imagery as I attempt to fall asleep. Honestly, sweet, dreamy girls are the cure for what ails ya.
This is my first SG journal update in about 2.5 months. Maybe I ought to maintain a more active lifestyle here. *shrug*
Also, for anyone who reads this: What do you think about buying SGs things from their wishlists? I'm considering hooking Sophie up with something since her set that went up today made me all swoony. I figure it's the least I can do for seeing her nekkid* and adorable. I just don't want to look like I'm a stalker or something. Weird how certain things can have completely opposite meanings, depending on context.

in my opinion it is absolutely not stalkerish. the only way it would be stalkerish is if, as the giver, you were expecting to get something in return. that would be stalkerish.
but my world is like the world of burning man. gifts are to be given and enjoyed. if you have the means and another has a need, well then by golly: avail yourself!
i can honestly say that the presents i have received from being on this websites are some of the sweetest treats ever! the book i am currently reading, the cds i'm listening to, a couple of the movies i have watched recently, have all been gifts from fabulous wonderful memberfolks at sg. presents make me feel like a lucky duck sittin' on top of the world! and the world is a frosted cupcake with sprinkles that get stuck to my thighs!
yeah. so please please please! buy me all the items off my wishlist that you like!
