So, I'm all waxed now. My legs are, at least. It feels clean; it made me realize that I don't like body hair because it feels dirty.

This was my third time getting my legs waxed. In addition to feeling good about having bare legs again, it was nice to be in a place that's usually dominated by women. Everywhere I've had my legs done has been staffed by beautiful women, which completely equalizes the pain caused by the waxing.

I wonder if they heard me sigh when I was filling out the intake form, on which I had to answer "no" for "Are you currently pregnant?" and "Are you currently menstruating?" They didn't ask about my kanji tattoo (female), which was OK with me because I really didn't feel like explaining what, exactly, "transgender" means again. If getting my legs waxed at a women's spa didn't answer that loudly enough...

I guess now I just need to lose this junk-in-the-front weight and I'll be as happy with my body as anyone who hates their own gender can be.
