Once or twice a year I go through a period of a few weeks to a few months during which I absolutely adore the works of Ani DiFranco. I am currently in such a period, and you know, if anything, it's definitely not making me less depressed. But it is sort of calming to know that someone else has been hurt as bad as I have, and has the guts to record and release songs about the pain.
