In case anyone was wondering why or how i got my name this is my reason behinde my name,Smashing Pumpkins Ava Adore,,and yes i know i miss spelled my name..i did it on purpose!
This is very suiting for who i am and how i feel....this song means allot to me in many different ways. i was maybe 13 or so when it came out. I was in a musical transition....going from the fake "pop world" to the real Alternative rock world....and second my grandmother's name is Ava..(i miss her so)

Which leads me to my next topic:looking back there where 3 bands that shaped me into the person i am today.
Korn, the first band to pull me out of the fake music world and open new doors into the rock world. the first heavy cd i ever purchased. Korn changed me in allot of ways (while i no longer injoy there music, the new crap) i still respect them and what they did for the industry.
Kittie was the first real "metal" band i ever got into, and there first cd Spit came out when they where still in there teens, the first cd i had of theres was spit, i was maybe 14, or 15 when i first heard it. As kitte has grown and changed, so have i (my musical tast) i almost feel like i grew up on kittie, as if my tast is evolving along with there's. Kittie gave me a reason to be me! i looked up to the band in allot of ways. an all girl metal band going head to head with the guys.
Nine Inch Nails....i cant even begin to explain how much Trent Reznor's music inspires me. Trent is a god in my book, his music opend the door to a whole new type of music... Industrial music! by fare one of my favorite generas! now in my 20's i love all kinds of music that have a industrial feel to it. i am sucker for synthetic..... NIN did alot for me each cd of trent's has a diffrent feel to it, for every mood there is a NIN song to match it....ahhhh.. my love for NIN goes very deep...
