Today..well I guess yesterday now.. my gecko Kai was hiding in his cave like all day, which is weird because usually he only goes in there to sleep and spends the rest of the time walking around or on his rock.
When I put a cricket in his aquarium he didnt really care much to come out and get it, but when it went right in front of his face he ate it. so im like hm ok maybe he is hungry. I gave him 2 more, all with vitamins on them and later when I looked they were gone and then he was finally out standing there staring at me.
I took him out cause I hadnt in a while and I put him on my lap when I was on my laptop on my bed
everything was fine, he crawled a bit but mainly just layed there on my warm leg like usual.
then he started like moving really fast, but weirdly, so I put him on my bed
then he stopped and stuck his tongue out
im like ok maybe hes thirsty or something, long enough out anyway, so I was going to put him back when he opened his mouth up hugely and stuck like his WHOLE freaking tongue out
I was SCARED.
then something started coming OUT!!!!!!!!!! It was the grosest thing to watch EVER. I screamed cause I didnt know what was going on or if he was dying or what!!
then out came this GLOBwith 3 crickets all stuck together, it was HUUGE!! then after that he also puked out a single cricket that was super slimey. wahhhhhh so GROSS
poor guy!!
then he just like stood there doing absolutely nothing.
im like 'uhm you ok buddy?' and I scooped him up in a big cup and put him back in his aquarium
uhm gross! I need to google this, I hope hes ok!!
I think that the crickets were maybe too big for hm to digest? I dont know.
usually he eats 4 a day, but these ones were a bit bigger than usual.
