To all actors and actresses in the greater Los Angeles area....

I'm helping cast a senior thesis short film from Chapman University in Orange that is scheduled to shoot in mid-March. This is a great project with a great director, who plans on submitting to film festivals internationally. We're specifically looking for a girl with mods to play one of the leads (Nicole), but are still taking submissions for the other roles as well. Here's the details:

Barely Legal is a psychological drama that follows the story of Miles, a sex-obsessed college student who, along with his former girlfriend Nicole, run a porn website from their dorms. Together they decide to seduce Christine, a nave mutual acquaintance, on camera with disastrous results. Character breakdowns are as follows:

MILES (19): Wiry, intense, manipulative. Formerly a geeky outsider, now addicted to porn and obsessed with Christine. Lives perpetually in Nicoles shadow.

NICOLE (19): Tattooed, pierced, raven haired fireball. Lives to seduce and be wanted by others. Owns the porn site and keeps Miles around as an ego boost.

CHRISTINE (19): Gorgeous, innocent and beguiling. Too flirtatious for her own good, a bit of a tease.

DOUG (18): The cameraman for the website. Small, squirrelly and eager, Doug hangs off Miles and Nicole like a puppy. Immature but loyal.

There is IMPLIED nudity for Miles, Christine, and Nicle, but no actual nudity in film. Please call casting director Carolyn Rochelle at 949-786-5830 with any questions.
