Work is going to be closed for three days. During exam week. How perfect is that?!

You know, I do NOT take good care of my hands and feet. I have never had a manicure or pedicure. I just keep 'em neat and boring.
There comes a point where you start to just realize that you are who you are. I will never be the girl with the lovely french manicure. Which is fine with me. Used to be when I was younger that anything I liked about someone I thought I needed to have for myself. And I'd get frustrated with myself for not being that girl. For not having a ripped stomach. For not really being into poetry. For not being a political activist.

I guess it's hard to want to want to be something you're not. If I really wanted any of those things, they'd sorta happen. I'm learning to get away from all that and start figuring out what it is that I want for ME.

I'm excited about a book I ordered....photography of Shiva Rea (NAKED!) in various asanas.
Speaking of yoga, Erik went to an advaned power vinyasa class with me last week and we ended up doing a lot of partner stuff. That was great. I love that boy...he makes me feel innocent and dirty and girly and womanly and everything.
