Yep Yep... Hmmmm... What to do? I'm listening to MM Food by MF Doom... kinda a weak album, but on the whole it's entertaining.

I really really don't feel like making fucking pastries today... *sigh* I'm sure you can't understand- but doing work with desserts is such a damn drag compared to working in a kitchen making real food. Pastry chefs are a strange breed. I know it's a good thing to understand, but, ugh... Yesterday I made this friggan huge batch of lemon mousse... Okay- It took 120 egg yolks (no whites, just the yolks) and 6 whole pounds of butter! FUCKING GROSS! Oh yeah, after all that it took a couple of quarts of heavy whipped cream! It's just death in a dessert... What the hell is that? It's made of Fat and Cholesterol with some Dairy Fat and, oh, a bit more fat, oh and it had a couple of pounds of sugar in it...

Wow...that sounds wonderfully gross when you make it in that big of a batch and realize how much stuff goes into it...yummy....
