Crazy Dream I've Had - Blog Homework

This weeks blog homework from @missy and @rambo is to write about a crazy dream that I've had. I don't often remember my dreams which would make this blog topic difficult for me however yesterday while taking a nap I had a dream that hopefully fits this criteria.

I was in Australia (how I knew it was Australia is a mystery to me, it was a dream) and I was walking down the street holding a little girls hand. I believe this little girl was my daughter. I looked behind us to see big waves coming and at first I didn't think much of them, they seemed far off and I didn't think they would reach us. We continued walking at our steady pace. I heard people screaming and people beginning to run in the streets and that's when I turned around again, the waves had gotten much bigger and closer and so I threw the little girl on my back and I began to run. The wave caught up to us and we were swept away ... I wasn't worried because the hoodie I was wearing was some kind of magical hoodie. As soon as I put it over my head I could breathe under water. While under water I didn't seem concerned about my daughters safety (I guess I'm not much of a parent in dreams) I just swam along in my magical underwater hoodie. The big wave passed and I looked around for my little being.

We found dry clothes for her in a suitcase that had washed up beside us. While looking around I found we had been carried to the center of a zoo. I grabbed my daughters hand and felt extremely unsafe and on the defense. We started walking around looking for some kind of exit. What we found is that we were stuck in the center of the lion habitat. What I also found is that the lion cub was looking for his father, and that he could talk just like us. It now felt like a scene from The Lion King. I let the cub know we meant him no harm and we would help him look for his father if he would help us find a way out. We went separate ways as I had suggested this would be a faster solution to finding his father. While secretly trying to find our own way out we landed ourselves in a Planet of the Apes like hostile situation. They took my daughter and I and tied us to trees. Luckily for me the dream gets a little fuzzy and I woke up slightly after this.

I hope this counts as crazy... or at least entertaining. <3 A.

Entertaining indeed.  It is strange how you just know things in dreams. Like you being in Australia, or that the girl was your daughter.
